CLIENTS AND TESTIMONIALS

“We are a medium-sized teacher training provider based at The Compton School in North London. Helen is our only external facilitator delivering training to trainee teachers; this is due to Helen's detailed expertise and experience of these areas. We have engaged Helen for the past two years to deliver training on the important areas of Attachment Theory, Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Coaching and Parental Engagement. Helen is a pleasure to work with. Prior to the delivery of training, she has always been highly responsive. For any expert delivering on our programme, they have to understand our training curriculum as a whole and how their content fits with what trainees have previously learnt, and how the new content will be implemented in school placements. This is really over and above what should be expected of an external speaker, but Helen has always engaged with us as a Training Provider in this regard. In terms of delivery, Helen is instantly engaging and brings a wealth of experience to her presentations. The content is understandably sensitive for our trainee teachers but Helen is aware of this and prepares the audience well. We hope to continue to engage Helen to deliver on our teacher training programme. We can recommend her to deliver similar training to others.

“Khulisa have worked with Helen for 3 years, during this time she has designed and delivered extremely high quality training to partner schools and charities, leaders, teachers and parents/carers. Her expertise in the topic matter is exceptional, but what really sets her apart is the way that she delivers - she connects with her audience, immediately breaks down barriers or fears, and helps them regulate and relate with her and those in the room so that they can learn. She role models the work in a way that is memorable because participants actively experience the process for themselves. We have had outstanding outcomes from all the deliveries she has done and would recommend her to others. As a side note - she is also fantastic to work with, clear, responsive and trustworthy - essential for any busy organisation!”

"Helen’s delivery style is open and honest and gave many opportunities to discuss situations that are ‘real to me’. Since attending the training I have been able to utilize my learning by adapting more therapeutic approaches when working with families as well as in my personal life with my grandchildren. By being this way, I have noticed a shift in how I can relate to a child/ren when they are struggling to cope by allowing them to explore feelings more and recognising its ok to not feel ok. I particularly enjoyed reflective time to look deeper into compassion fatigue and my own wellbeing as this is not something I did often enough until this training. I now do this more often. I also enjoyed the learning around Blocked Care and Secondary Trauma particularly as I am more aware of how impacted our young people are in such tricky situations but it’s really great to see training related to a much needed subject. I have highly recommended this to my manager which has developed the need across the council."
